Where will I work?

As part of the Graduate Recruitment and Development Scheme, you will be placed with one of Victorian Government's departments and agencies. Most graduates then rotate over two other placements during the course of the program. This allows you to experience a variety of work environments.

The Victorian Government employs graduates across all ten departments as well as in various agencies and administrative offices throughout Victoria. So, when you work in government, a huge range of opportunities and experiences are possible!

The Victorian Government has offices throughout Victoria, and even some interstate and overseas. The central business district of Melbourne is home to the head office of all ten Victorian Public Service (VPS) departments and most of our key agencies.

Government offices (with several different agencies under one roof) are also located in key regional centres including Geelong, Ballarat, Bendigo and Traralgon.
